Our Team

The people who make
our work possible

Our strength comes from the people behind our work—staff, mentors, and volunteers who show up for youth every day.

Dr. Denise Concepcion

Founder & CEO
Niño de la Caridad Foundation

Dr. Denise Concepcion is a Dominican American pediatrician and critical care specialist whose mission is to transform the lives of Latino youth and families in the Bronx.

As the Founder and CEO of Niño de la Caridad Foundation, she has created a safe and empowering space where children and teens can access healthcare, mentorship, and educational opportunities.

Under her leadership, the Foundation has impacted thousands of families, providing over 90,000 meals, $2 million in scholarships, and helping more than 2,000 students access college through programs like Leaders of the Future.

Dr. Denise’s work extends beyond medicine; she is a community advocate and mentor who believes that every child deserves the chance to dream, learn, and lead. Through her dedication, Niño de la Caridad Foundation continues to inspire hope, break barriers, and build healthier, stronger communities.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Denise enjoys spending time with her family — laughing together about anything and everything — and finding peace through meditation in the wilderness, surrounded by nature.
